Service Type 1: Screening Consult

Length: 2 hours in one visit (Bangkok only)

Investment: 8,000 THB

(9,600 THB if VAT receipt is needed)

This includes an in-school one hour bservation and 1 hour consultation with teachers and/or parents with verbal feedback and advice.

A summary is emailed to both school and parent.

A Screening Consult includes a one hour observation of your child at school. The main purpose of this is to determine whether a child needs further assessment and is especially helpful for parents/teachers who are not quite sure if a full cognitive assessment/well-being assessment is needed. Included is a one-hour consultation where concerns are shared and next steps discussed. The evaluation is completed with a brief email to both parent and teacher, detailing the agreed actions and findings with next steps, which may include further assessment, monitoring, or no action required.

This service can also be combined with a well-being assessment (see option 2) for a reduced, combined cost of 22,000 THB (26,400 THB with VAT) if completed in the same visit.

Should an additional Full Cognitive Assessment be needed this can be offered for 25,000 THB (30,000 with VAT) instead of the usual 28,000 THB (33,600 THB with VAT) and will be conducted without repeating the observation and consultation parts, provided it is carried out within 4 school weeks.

 

Service Type 2: Well-being Assessment 

Length: 2 hours with child or young person in one visit, plus scoring and writing/emailing report.

Investment: 18,000 THB

(21,600 THB if a VAT receipt is needed)

(Chonburi: 21,000 THB / 25,200 THB with VAT)

  • A wide range of psychologist-only measures and questionnaires.
  • Emailed Report with formulation and strategies.

This includes individual work with the child or young person (2 hours) in their home or school (or office location) completing a wide range of psychologist only questionnaires and measures.

Followed by a summary of results with formulation and strategies emailed to parents and teacher.              

A Well-being Assessment Report includes individual work with the child or young person, completing a wide range of psychologist-only questionnaires and measures, completed in one visit. These are then scored and formulation provided, along with strategies for intervention. This is emailed to parents and teacher. The main purpose of this is to gather well-being data (social/emotional/behavioural) about a child without the need for observation or consultation. It is especially helpful for parents / teachers who are in need of data to inform their well-being support or therapy / counselling for a child.

This service can be combined with the Screening Consult (see option 1) for a reduced, combined cost of 22,000 THB (26,400 THB with VAT) if completed in the same visit.

Service Type 3: Exam Access Report (AGES 11-24)

Length: 2 hours with child or young person in one visit, plus scoring and writing/emailing report.

Investment: 15,000 THB

(18,000 THB if a VAT receipt is needed)

(Chonburi: 19,000 THB / 22,800 THB with VAT)

A range of assessments needed for evidence of exam access arrangement needs, including:

  • Spelling (WIAT 3)
  • Word Reading (WIAT 3)
  • Processing Speed (WISC 5)
  • Working Memory (WISC 5)
  • Lucid EXACT Test
  • Handwriting Speed (DASH)
  • Emailed Report.

This includes individual work with the child or young person (2 hours) in their home or school (or office location) completing a specific range of assessment measures. Followed by a summary of results emailed to parents and teacher.

An Exam Access Assessment Report includes individual work with the child or young person, completing a wide range of assessments completed in one visit. These are then scored and presented in a report which is emailed to parents and teacher. The main purpose of this is to gather data to present to examination boards for exam access arrangements.

 

Service Type 4: Autism Assessment

Length: All day, plus scoring and writing the report and a post-report meeting.

Investment: 33, 000 THB

(39,600 THB if a VAT receipt is needed)

(Chonburi: 36,000 THB / 43,200 THB with VAT)

(Chiang Mai: 38,000 THB / 45,600 THB with VAT)

This gold standard assessment uses the two recommended tools, the ADOS-2 and the ADI-R, along with a cognitive assessment.

  • ADI-R interview with parent/s (2 hours, no children should be present).
  • Cognitive (IQ) assessment with the child / young person (1.5 hours).
  • ADOS-2 assessment with the child / young person (1 hour, videod and scored immediately so no immediate meetings / feedback possible).
  • Where necessary, additional questionnaires from parent/s and school teams.
  • This data is then used to rule out or diagnose Autism.
  •  A report is written, followed by a meeting with parents. Parents can choose to have the report emailed before we meet.
  • Booklets by the National Autistic Society UK for parents are provided if a diagnosis is given. 
  • For Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Phuket and visiting overseas families, the post-report meeting is held by Skype.

Service Type 5: Full Cognitive, Achievement & Phonological Assessment Ages 2.06 – 50.00

Length: All day, plus scoring and writing the report and a post-report meeting. 

Investment: 28,000 THB

(33,600 THB if a VAT receipt is needed)

(Chonburi: 31,000 THB / 37,200 THB with VAT) (Chiang Mai: 33,000 THB / 39,600 with VAT)

  • Observation (30-40 minutes)
  • Assessment as listed below 
  • Joint consultation with parent/s and teacher

Cognitive assessment as below:

  • Ages 2.06 – 5.11 is the WPPSI 4 on iPad
  • Ages 6.00 – 16.11 is the WISC 5 on iPad
  • Ages 17.00 – 50.00 is the WAIS 4 on iPad

Plus Academic Assessment

  • Writing & Spelling is the WIAT 3, for ages 4+ on iPad
  • Mathematics is the WIAT 3, for ages 4+ on iPad
  • Word Reading is the WIAT 3, for ages 4+ on iPad
  • Reading Comprehension is the WIAT 3, for ages 4+ on iPad

Plus, if needed:

  • Phonological Assessment –  is the CTOPP for ages 4-24 years
  • Listening Comprehension from the WIAT 3.
  • For children under 3, a play based assessment is also included.

This includes individual work with the child or young person (up to 4 hours) in their home, school or office location (school is best) completing cognitive, phonological and achievement assessments along with a 30-40 minute observation and 1-hour joint consultation with parent/s and teacher. These are all completed in one day. 

This service CAN be used for the diagnosis of learning difficulties, dysgraphia, dyslexia or dyscalculia

  • A full report is provided along with strategies and formulation.
  • This is discussed at a Post-report meeting (1.5 hrs) where agreed strategies are noted. 

The main purpose of this is to gather rich data about a child and may be used to diagnose learning difficulties, dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia. It is especially helpful for parents / teachers who are in need of gaining a rich picture of a child’s strengths and needs as a learner in order to support them most effectively. For Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Phuket and visiting overseas families, the post-report meeting is held by Skype.
